After Parliament Square our next target was The Mall and Buckingham Palace. Tourists were out in force and we passed amused, bewildered and enthusiastic onlookers everywhere. I did notice less patience from our motorised road users this year – lots more horns sounding off. Lets face it – driving in London, you’re not going to get anywhere fast!
Soon we were at Russell Square for a spot of lunch. I was one of the first in the queue for our pre-ordered lunch while Karon found a place to sit where we could enjoy our food and watch the frivolities.
