For a six inch travel bike, the Whyte 46 climbed quite well. The set-up was a little soft for my liking but that's a lot of travel and it certainly felt smooth downhill. Setting the set-up to 4 inches changed the feel considerably, making the bike stiffer and less wallow under pedalling.
